The foundation of a painting

And not just any painting, this one is an order from customer, measuring 90 x 300 cm!

Here are some pictures of the new foundation of it, as I have changed it a bit during the working process.A man with a tail open up his mouth and out comes a lot of creatures and figures walking on a bridge towards - yes what? Is it perhaps my interpretation of the big question Where are we hedding? I guess so.


From his mouth a whole train of life pops up and walks a path of the bridge.


It is a bit dark in my temporary studio right now, but I hope you can see some of the lines of the painting.


One of the figures on the bridge coming forward. Note how I use the relief and the deep glance of oil colours. When good, it makes such a wonderful result I think.
